The girls and I have been going to the gym a lot more frequently, they are both taking dance classes now, and my son is right in the middle of high school swim season. In other words, we are all in need of post-workout recovery food that is quick, efficient and tastes good. Today I have a recipe from my friends at Abe’s Market that has been a hit in this house, so I figured I should share it with you, too!

Post-Workout Smoothie Recipe to Cleanse and Detox

You know that feeling right after you finish a workout, like you can take on the world? Do you have a favorite post-workout smoothie recipe? Sometimes we add frozen strawberries or some pineapple to the recipe – it just depends on what we have on hand, but we all feel better after the fact regardless of which fruits we add.
